Ra’Shon Janae Copes was born on June 28, 1983 in Easton Maryland to Enishia Ann Gray and Richard Orlandus Copes, Sr. On Monday morning March 1, 2021 Ra’Shon copes departed this life . She graduated from Queen Anne’s County High School in Centreville Maryland in June 2001, Ra’Shon attended Robinson A.M.E Church of Grasonville MD, where she gave her life to Christ under the leadership of Rev. Pinkney. She was employed at her family restaurant “Henny’s Restaurant and Carry-Out” in Easton, MD. She was also employed for a short period of time with Royal Farms in Queenstown MD, as well with Mc Donald’s in Stevensville MD.
Ra’Shon really enjoyed life, anyone who knew her knows that her kids were her world and she loved her family. She had a love for shoes, shopping and food. She didn’t mind helping when she could and would open her door to anyone in-need.
Ra’Shon was preceded in death by her grand-mother Mary Copes and grand-father Henry Gray.
Ra’Shon leaves to cherish fond memories with her mother, Enishia Ann Gray and father Richard Orlabdus Copes Sr.; her daughter, La’Shon Roberts; her son, Bishop Roberts; one brother, Richard Copes Jr. (Kieka Jenkins) of Centreville; a sister, Sharlene Copes of Grasonville; nephews: Ke’Juan Johnson, Mehki Johnson , Knowledge Barnes aka(Boo-Das), Sakaiah Copes, and Pa’Ris Tomlinson; maternal grandmother, Henrietta Gray (Grum-ma) of Corfton MD; her aunt, Ateeya Gray of Crofton; Aunt Tammy Copes; uncles: Miles Gray, Henry Gray, Barnabus Copes and Johnny Copes; great aunts: Theresa Newton, Delcia Sorrell, Mary Jones , Emma Jean Freeman, Robin Copes;, Shena Smith;, Tracey Gross (Vernon Gross); great uncles: Jimmy Speller, and Deladimore Speller; best friends: Tasha Curtis-Copper (Jahari), Mark Scott aka Jay, and Shanetta Benson ( Carlos),, as well as a host of cousins and friends.
