Olin Phillip Carr, Jr., was born November 24, 1959 to the late Olin Phillip Carr, Sr. and Lula Mae Sampson.
He departed this life peacefully in the arms of his wife of 32 years, he was 61. Phillip was educated in the Dorchester County Public School System.
His jobs included Eric Strabu Marine Construction, and wire cloth, J.N.L. sub contractors. Phil loved the outdoors, his main hobbies were fishing and working outside in the yard. He was a fun, loving, caring, giving, cooking, partying; but most of all he loved his family, spending time talking with his brothers “Ralph and Anthony” drinking beer and going to the race track.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Joyce Carr, 2 brothers Terry Jones, Issac Sampson, Uncles Amos, Andrew, Russell and Raymond Sampson, aunts Pauline and Ella Sampson.
He leaves to mourn his wife of 32 years Linda Carr, one son Olin Phillip Carr III, two brothers Ralph (Serena) Carr of Hurlock, MD, Anthony(Rosalyn) Sampson of Mardela Springs, MD, one sister Donna Jones of Cambridge, MD, a stepson Allen La’Don Stevenson of Cambridge, MD, 6 grandaughters Kemira Chester of Salisbury, MD, Adajah, Keia’jah, JaKora, Zaniya and Shan’ya Stevenson all of Cambridge, MD, 2 great grandson, Ja’Sai Stevenson and Daicen Johnson Stevenson of Cambridge, MD, two nieces Aquwina Cooper of Cambridge, MD and Lakisha Adams of Wilmington, Delaware, nephews Vincent Travers of Cambridge, MD, Anthony Sampson, Jr of Jacksonville, FL Jawann Sampson of Cambridge, MD, Brandon Williamson of Church Hill, MD and a host of other family and friends.
