Obituary

Luther Dudley Molock, Jr., 50 of Cambridge entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland after a brief illness. Junnie, as he was affectionately called was born October 7, 1970 to Daisy Molock Atkins, and the late Luther Molock, Sr.

Luther received his education in the public schools of Dorchester County. He attended and graduated with the class of 1988 from Cambridge South Dorchester High School. Junnie was kind-hearted lovable young man who enjoyed working on cars as well as being the neighborhood handy man. There was not anything he would not do if he could help you. He was very family oriented, and he truly loved family. Junnie enjoyed playing his X-Box, watching football and basketball. He also enjoyed spending time with his baby girl, Emma.

In addition to his mother, Junnie leaves to cherish fond memories with his stepfather, Stephen Atkins of Cambridge; a special companion, Rajame Cooper; 4 daughters: Brittany Murphy (Jeff) of Fruitland, Maryland, Kierra Cephas of Bridgeville, Delaware, Sha”Queelah Smith and Emma Rose Marine Molock of Cambridge; one stepsister, Annie Short; 4 grandchildren: James Harmon, Nolan Murphy of Fruitland, A’kira Cephas of Bridgeville, Serenity Smith of Cambridge; one great aunt, Ruth Braxton of Cambridge; 9 aunts: Patricia Brown (George) of Walterboro, South Carolina, Edith Ballard (Ernest) of Columbia, Maryland, Alice Heath of Pocomoke, Maryland, Jeannette Belote of Princess Anne, Maryland, Mary Bivens of Salisbury, Ruth Stanley (Frederick) who loved him as her own son, Brenda Molock (Richard), Beverly Robinson (Michael), Magalene Molock (Keith) all of Cambridge; 3 uncles: Benjamin Molock of Salisbury, Keith Molock (Magalene) of Cambridge, Clarence Heath (Jan) of Pocomoke, a special cousin, Alfreda “FreFre” Stanley, a longtime friend, William Wright, Jr., and a host of cousins, other relatives, loved ones, and friends.

Luther will truly be missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him. To know Luther was to love him.
