James Nathaniel Wilson, born May 10, 1951, and native of Cambridge, MD departed this life at the age of 70 on Wednesday June 23, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family at 4:27 PM in Cambridge, MD. He was the son of Eloise Wright and the late Yvon N. Wilson.
James was affectionately known by many as Jim, Jimmy, Honey, Dad, Daddy and Pop Pop. He was a Brother in Christ at the Church of Christ in Cambridge, MD where he served as a trustee, and later transferred to the Salisbury Church of Christ congregation.
He was employed by Vision America Community Development Corporation; W. C. Fisher & Sons Trucking in Wilmington, DE and Rob Roy’s of Cambridge, MD.
He will be lovingly remembered by: his wife of 47 years, Sharon Wilson; 2 daughters: Ashyrra (Leon) Dotson and Tangela (Carlos) Diaz of Salisbury, MD; a son, Dante’ Wilson of Fort Washington; his mother, Eloise Wright of Cambridge, MD; one brother, Yvon/Quack (Karen) Wilson of Locust Grove, Georgia; His grandparents preceded him in death; one living Uncle: Cokeland Wilson of Cambridge, MD; three Sister in Laws: Mildred (Winfield) Fisher of Salisbury, MD, Victoria Howard of North Carolina and Brenda Johnson of Seaford, DE; Big Sister and Brother: Victoria and Joseph Chester of Cambridge, MD; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grands; nieces, nephews and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.
