Eldridge Hooper, Jr., better known as Junnie, gained his heavenly wings at the age of 49 on April 15, 2021 at his residence surrounded by family. He was born July 2, 1971 in Cambridge, MD to Rosemary Wongus and Eldridge Hooper, Sr.
Junnie was educated in Dorchester County and Baltimore schools. He loved spending time with family and friends. Junnie also loved watching tv, listening to music, and riding his bike. He was a free-hearted man who had a caring personality and made friends with all he met. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Junnie leaves to cherish fond memories with his parents; Rosemary Wongus of Hurlock and Eldridge Hooper, Sr of Cambridge; a special stepfather, James Diaz; a son, Ervien Carver of Baltimore; a daughter, Kandis Jasmine Hooper of Baltimore; one brother, Terry Hooper of Baltimore; 2 sisters: Roselee Wongus of Baltimore and Denise Martin of Glen Burnie; a very special friend, Tamyra Wilson of Hurlock; a god sister, Brenda Pleasant (Candy) of Baltimore; a special brother Herman (Peanut) Miller of Cambridge; special friends, Charvin Wilson and Wanda Hill both of Cambridge; very special friends/cousins: Keyon Paskins, Minnie Robinson, Anglea (Squeak) Wongus, Mack Robinson, Timothy (Binky) Jones of North Carolina, Little Troy and Mannie; aunts: Beatrice Robinson of Cambridge, Dianna Wongus of Philadelphia, Carolyn Wongus of Cambridge, Joann Dixon of Cambridge, Serrena Gaskins of Baltimore, Roselee Wongus of Baltimore, and Denise Martin of Glen Burnie; a special aunts, Affilena Sonnier of Baltimore, a very special close friend/sister, Elizabeth Newman of Salisbury, and the Beadles family who was close to him, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
We love you, but God loved you more. You will always be in our thoughts and you will be greatly missed.
