Corinda Mae (Taylor) Robins

October 6, 1945 ~ April 10, 2021 (age 75)

Obituary

Corinda Mae Taylor Robins was born on October 6, 1945, to the late George and Hattie Taylor of Snow Hill, Maryland. At the age of 75, she fell peacefully asleep in Jesus after a long illness. She was a wonderful person who really loved her family and helped many of them out when she could.

Corinda received her formal education in the public school system of Worcester County, where she received her high school diploma in 1963. Corinda was always willing to help someone. She worked at Genesis Health Care from August 1974 to December 2017, caring for those who could not take care of themselves.

Before she became ill, she loved to ride around with her sister, Brenda Roberts. They were always on the go. She also loved to listen to her Gospel music, and her favorite song was “Give Me You” by Shana Wilson. She loved that song so much that she made it her ring tone. Many of her grandchildren loved her famous grilled cheese sandwiches. During her lengthy illness, she was loved and cared for by her family. Proverbs 31:28 says, “Her children arise up and call her blessed...” Her daughter Valerie left her home and moved in with her mother’ to help take care of her. She was very much loved by her family and her passing will leave a void in their lives.

Corinda leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memory, two devoted daughters: Valerie Robins and Dorinda Kelly (Tony) of Salisbury, Maryland, nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. One sister Brenda Roberts (Alfonzo) of Salisbury, Maryland, five brothers, George Taylor and Monroe Taylor, of Snow Hill, Maryland, Calvin Taylor (Sandra) of Boyertown, Pennsylvania, Anthony Taylor (Cynthia) of Millsboro, Delaware, Maurice Taylor (Jacqueline) of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Vanessa Ann (Moore) Wilson, her parents George and Hattie Taylor, a sister Betty Taylor and two brothers — Melvin Taylor and Gregory Taylor.
