Bernice Gabbin Beverly better know as “The Snowball Lady” was born in Baltimore, MD on November 22, 1929 to the late Burton and Katie Jackson. She departed this life on Sunday August 15, 2021 at her residence at the age of 91.
She was raised by her Aunt Nannie in Richmond, Virginia and received her education there.
Bernice was employed at Kool Ice Seaford, Cambridge, MD before her health failed her. She worked at various jobs in Shirt Factory, Cambridge, MD, Madison Seafood Company, Madison, MD and made an awesome snowball on High Street Snowball stand.
She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church in Cambridge, Maryland. She enjoyed going and she loved the Lord. Bernice loved watching the orioles baseball, Steve Harvey and Judge Judy.
She was a loving mother grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She always gave a helping hand to others who were in need. We have lost a Jewel and she truly will be missed by all her family and friends. Bernice leaves to cherish her memories; her son Charles Gabbin (Rosa Gabbin),, her daughter Bernadette Gabbin Thomas (Donny Thomas), Step-son Charles Pinder, Grandchildren; Onell Autrey (Marzelle, Autrey Jr) Diszell Gabbin and Henry Gabbin (Barbara Gabbin); four Great grandchildren, Terry Gabbin, Domonique Autrey, Jaion Manokey and Honestic Gabbin, a sister in law, Ethel Jackson, a special niece, Gwendolyn Blackwell, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a special friend Jerlene Dockins.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; two brothers and a sister.
