Chase passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 12, 2020 at The Pines in Easton, Maryland at the age of 74. She was born December 14, 1945, the daughter of the late James Lester Chase and Clara Mae Chase.\n \n\n She enjoyed eating out, shopping and spending time with family and friends. Everyone was always welcome at her house. She was educated in the Talbot County School System.\n \n\n Viola was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers: John Chase, William Lawrence, James Lawrence and Roland Chase and two daughters Sandra Chase and Brenda Chase.\n \n\n She is survived by her son William Chase (Emma); five grandchildren, Jaron Chase, Jakia Freeman, Wilicia Chase (Georgia), Crystal Chase (Georgia) and Kevron Chase (Stacy); one great grandchild, Tynasiah Parker; one sister, Susie Jenkins (Easton, MD); sister in-law, Bonnie Chase (Easton, MD); four nephews, Lonnie Jenkins (Barbara) of Virginia, Leon Jenkins, Jr. (Salisbury, MD) and Jermeanne Moaney (Greensboro,MD); three nieces, Bridgette Wright (Sylvester) Cambridge, MD, Victoria Covington of Easton, MD and Rolchelle Chase of Easton, MD and a special friend, Willie B. Williams and a host of cousins and friends.
