Shard'a Pinder Obituary (1987 - 2015)

Shard’a Janae Pinder, 27 of Cambridge, Maryland, departed this life on Saturday, March 28, 2015. Born May 2, 1987, in Cambridge, Maryland, daughter of Michelle and Novel Pinder. She was a graduate of Cambridge South-Dorchester High School, Class of 2005. Shard’a was an active member of many clubs and organizations, one of which she loved dearly, the CSD Gospel Choir. After high school, she graduated from Chesapeake Community College and also studied at Salisbury State University. Shard’a has always been a very independent young woman, working through high school and college as an after school counselor. She was also employed at the Maryland Department of Motor Vehicle, Maces Lane Middle School and Adventist Behavioral Health Care which supported her love of shopping for herself and others. Shard’a loved music, family, and praising God through song. She had a special love for children and children had a special love for Ms. Shard’a. To know her was to love her. She leaves to cherish her memory; her parents, Novel and Michelle Pinder; one sister, Lavishe Brisco (Francis); one nephew, Jace Brisco; paternal grandmother, Alice Blake; maternal grandmother, Lillian Jackson; paternal grandfather, Alfonzo Brown; six aunts, Bonnie Henry (Terence), Dometrist Henry, Pamela Pinder, Renita Pinder, Alisa Molock (Tynell) and Erina Brown; six uncles, Ronnie Pinder, Henry Jones (Tracy), Lamont Jones (Pam), Bernard Jones, Henry Kellogg Jr. and Alfonzo Brown Jr. (Germaine); godmother, Janice Jones; goddaughter, Jamiah Simms; one cousin she loved like a sister, Carmen Farrare (Raymond); a special niece, Kayla Martinez and a host of cousins and friends. Shard’a was preceded in death by her grandfather, Henry Kellog, great grandparents, James and Edna Worell, Issac and Evelyn Jones and three uncles, Shawn Blake, Wade Jones and Kevin Marshall. Interment will follow in Mt. PleasantCemetery in Salem.
