Richard Douglas Fletcher (also know as Applehead) 67 of Cambridge , Maryland, died October 6, 2020 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. He was born January 3, 1953 in Kent Island, Maryland to James and Virgie Fletcher.
Richard gained his education through Job Corp , where he learned masonry. He excelled at brick laying and was well know for it.
He was a proud member of the Elks Lodge #223. He was raised in the church and was led to the Lord by his sister, Deborah. He was raised in the church of God under Rev. Hattie Stanley. He loved deer hunting with a passion and fishing was a close 2nd. He loved playing cards with friends and family most Friday nights. Debbie and him loved going to the casino to enjoy the buffet.
His parents proceeded him in death along with his sisters Sheila and Teresa.
His memory shall be cherished by his loving companion Deborah Sharp, his daughters Donyelle Bonner (Ronald) and India Fletcher. One grandson that he loved and cherished more than anything, Damarri Bradford. His siblings, Dolliejean Reed, Dartyjames, Robin and Deborah Fletcher, Rosalee Camper, Beverly Chesley, and James Kane, several aunts: Debbie and Denise Fletcher, Florence Johnson and Lillie Shalto, two uncles Freddie Allen and Gilbert Fletcher, whom he loved like a brother and a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved greatly, Shelley Chase and Reneka Chase, whom he affectionately raised and life long friends, Pete Smith, Judge Melvin Jews, Brady Johnson and Jerome Stanley.
