Pauline Elizabeth Cephus Person died on January 31,2021 suddenly at UMSH @ Easton at the age of 52.
Paula was born in Easton, Maryland on June 19,1968 to William and Corrine Cephus. Paula graduated from Colonel Richardson High School in 1986. Following graduation from high school, she graduated from Drexel Institute of Technology with honors to pursue a career in Drafting. However, due to injuries sustained in an auto accident she was unable to pursue this dream. Redirecting her focus led her to pursue employment with Bank of America, MD Rural Development and Air Liquide.
On December 31,2005, Paula married John Person. Paula was a very outgoing, kind and friendly person whom you'd always remember once you met her. She took such an interest in others and loved life. She loved watching and attending sports events as well as gathering historical facts about local communities and especially about her family. She loved her family and gathering with them. We will miss her warm smile and her hearty laughter.
Paula is survived by her husband, John Person; 2 sons: Tashawn Cephus of Philadelphia and John Cruzó of Kunsan, Korea; daughters: Aleta Johnson (Roman) of Newark,DE, Neoshi Baker of Newark, NJ, and Tishunda Gardner(Denaren) of Smyrna, DE; a grandson, Zachery Jones of Newark, DE; mother, Corrine Flynn (Kenny) of Hurlock; her father, William Cephus of Easton; her grandmother, Pauline Copper of Easton; 2 aunts: Velma Young of Trappe, and "Aunt Mernie" Maryetta Carter (Leonard) of McDaniel; 3 uncles: Phillip Copper (Valerie) of Oxford, Michael Copper (Evelyn) of Denton and Mark Copper of Easton; and many cousins and friends whom she cherished. Paula also leaves behind two childhood friends who were like brothers: Andre and Deon Gibson; special friends: Dr. and Mrs. Richard Milbourne and Lashonda Roshel, Wanda Keene and the Gibson Family.
