Michele Harris Obituary (1974 - 2021)

Michele Lynn Harris, 46, born September 15, 1974 was the daughter of Tanya Johnson Harris of Cambridge, MD and the late, Wayne Harris, Sr. She was fondly known as “Chele” and “Shugg” by the ones who loved her. She passed away on January 17, 2021 at Tidal Health Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, MD. Michele graduated from Cambridge South Dorchester High School in 1993. She studied Education in college and received her Bachelor of Science from University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2000. She was attending Wor Wic Community College upon death. She had an easy spirit, and her smile was contagious. She loved to crochet and sew. Oh, Boy! How she loved to cook! She shared her food with her family. She was an avid reader. There were books everywhere, plus DVD movies. She loved shopping on eBay for almost anything especially shoes and purses. Michele leaves her memories and love to her mom, Tanya Harris; brother, Wayne (Sheba) Harris, Jr.; sister, Trish Harris; nephews: Wayne Harris, III, and Isaiah Harris; niece La’Trra Harris; aunts her second mom, Avis (Nathan) Banks, Sr., Cosette Burns, Rhonda (Leroy) Jones, Darlene Harris, Denise (Curtis) Randolph, Serena Johnson; uncles: Kevin (Mable) Johnson, Sr., Richard Johnson, Sr., Jerome (Barbara) Harris, Sr., Frankie Harris, Sr.; great aunts: Serena Gregg, Berdina Ross; great uncle, William Chester. Special friends: Jonnita Pierce and Shavon Harris, and a host of cousins, family, and friends. Preceded before her in death were maternal grandparents, Addison and Monenia Johnson; paternal grandparents, Kemp and Lovella Harris, Jr., plus other members of the family.
