Linda Mae Roberts, 67 of Easton, Md departed this life surrounded by her family on November 24, 2020 at the home of her nephew and niece Dale and Tina Copper in Unionville. Linda was born on August 10, 1953 in Easton to the late William Maurice Ayers and Eva Mae Roberts.\n \n\n\n\n She was educated in the Talbot County Public School System. Linda’s employment began with Mr. and Mrs. William and Amanda Rambo, taking care of their daughter “Lil” Linda Rambo who currently resides at the Chesapeake Center. Linda also worked for the Talbot County Public School System and Camp Lazy Daze for 36 ½ years before retiring. She also worked for Mason Gourmet and Chocolate in Easton Catering parties.\n \n\n\n\n Linda was an active and faithful member of the St. Stephens AME Church in Unionville. Through all she has endured, Linda was still able to praise his name every Sunday on the phone as well as midday prayer. Linda served in the following components: Trustee, Missionary, Stewardess, YPD Director, Vacation Bible School Volunteer, Chaired A Taste of Hors D’oeuvres, Co-chaired various Annual Days, Sisters of Faith and The Lay Organization and Culinary Committee.\n \n\n\n\n Linda loved being chauffeured around just to get out of the house. She loved playing Pokeno with her sister, nieces, and nephews. She also loved to draw and play school with her grandchildren, great nieces, and nephews.\n \n\n\n\n In addition to her parents Linda was preceded in death by her two brothers: Melvin Douglas and Gary Rodney; 2 sisters: Sandra and Deanna; nephews: Kirk Earle, Devwon and Elbert Jr.; uncles and aunt: Atlas, Herbert and Robenia, and a great Aunt, Ella.\n \n\n\n\n Linda leaves to cherish her memories: 3 children: Tonya, Rosalind, and Marshawn; 7 grandchildren: TraVon, KeAndra, Cly’Deisha, Maniya, JaWaun, LaRice and Lamaurie; 7 great grandchildren: Jewel, Journee, Harlem, Josiah, Taliyha, Kylan and Ace “GiGi” as she was called loved all her babies; one sister, Hope Copper; one aunt and uncle, Theresa and Frederick (Barbara) Deshields; nieces and nephews: Melvin Jr, Dale (Tina), Tandra, Tyrone, Monte, Alexa (Damian), Inez, Shamaine, Kiera and Lanay; one godson, Tavar Johns; one sister-in-law, Faith Roberts; 3 special friends: Mimi Shannahan, Harriet (Robert) Chase and Linda Walker. Linda also had her ride or die partners: Inez Copper, Cecilia Washington, and Vastina Brooks; as well as her church family, many other cousins, relatives, and friends.
