Kevin Woolford Travers, born May 12, 1957 in Cambridge, Maryland to the late Emerson\n \n Woodford, Sr and Betty Woolford Robinson and adopted by the late James and Lula Travers\n \n slipped to eternal rest on Thursday, April 22, 2021.\n \n\n\n Kevin completed his education in the Dorchester County Public School system graduating from\n \n Cambridge High School in the class of 1975. Immediately after graduation, Kevin enlisted in the\n \n United States Marine Corps (USMC) where he served eight (8) years of service earning: Rifle\n \n Marksmanship Badge, Good Conduct Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon and Meritorious\n \n Mast, Letter of Appreciation. Upon Honarable discharge, he worked at Western Publishing\n \n Company, also known as Mail Well Graphics.\n \n\n\n Kevin, also known as “Country” was “one of a kind” to know him, was to love him. He was a\n \n former member of the Elks Lodge and current member of the American Legion. He loved\n \n playing pool and was a skilled player who enjoyed challenging others to the game. Kevin loved\n \n cooking on the grill listening to oldies but goodies with family and friends. Football was his\n \n favorite sport; he was a die-hard Indiana Colts fan. Kevin also enjoyed cruising the town on his\n \n 3 wheel scooter.\n \n\n\n Kevin was a devoted and loving husband of thirty-seven years (37) and is survived by his loving\n \n wife, Sandra Travers, daughter, Sheneka Nichols, granddaughter, Nia Mason; and Siblings:\n \n Emerson Woolford, Jr., Larry Woolford-Johnson (Rene), Ronald Woolford (Margret), Louis\n \n Woolford (Debbie), Brenda Woolford, Ray Meekins, Cassandra Meekins, Sandra Woolford and\n \n Marlo Lee; In-laws: Lena Whitfield, Phyllis Johnson (Gothlee), William Bosley, Lois Bosley. He\n \n also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
