Keiford Lee Copper, Jr, 43 of Trappe, peacefully departed this life on January 3, 2019 in Trappe, MD. Born July 31, 1975 at Easton Memorial Hospital Easton, MD, he was the son of Keiford Lee Copper, Sr. and Cheerlyn Copper-Giles.
Keiford attended Talbot County Public School and a 1994 graduate of Easton High School. During his working years, he was employed at Wendy’s, Price’s Car Wash, and Bob Smith’s Automotive Group detailing cars, later he was employed as a carpenter with Victor MacSorley restoring historic buildings and other contractors from Talbot and Dorchester County. Keiford’s employment also included landscaping, masonry and refuse removal. He was a “jack of all trades”.
Keiford’s hobbies and special interest was fishing, socializing, collecting antique, backyard cookouts, scrapping/salvaging junk, listening to a variety of music, drawing and spending time with family and friends.
Keiford was preceded in death by paternal grandparents: Willie Lee Smith, Sr. and Lois Jean Wilson and maternal grandfather William Elwood Giles.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children: Keosha, KeAisha, and Keiford, III (KJ) Cooper, their mother, Natasha Limberry; granddaughter: My’Hira Dixon; sister: Krystle Copper and step sister, Isis Copper; step-mother, Alfreda Copper; nephews: Bedford, IV and Brayden Johnson; maternal grandmother, Rosie Giles, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
