Juwana Shanay Molock, 30, of Cambridge, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton, surrounded by family and friends.
Juwana was born at Easton Memorial on October 15, 1987 to Odessa Roberts and Ronnie Molock. But from the age of six months she was raised and nurtured by her aunt, Pastor Mary Ennals and her late husband of 42 years, William, whom she called Mommy and Papa respectively.
Juwana graduated from Cambridge-South Dorchester High School in the Class of 2005. Endearing memories of Ms. Trudy D’Innocenzo and Ms. Rita Webb, two of her teachers, lingered in Juwana’s heart. Juwana loved Arts and Crafts and surfing the internet especially Amazon. She also loved zooming up and down Rte. 16 with her daughter on her lap waving to passersby as she headed to the store! Juwana was prepared for this final journey through her spiritual development at True Gospel Tabernacle of Praise, where her “Mommy”, Mary E. Ennals, pastored her. She loved the Lord and through her disability and positive attitude, lived an “I Won’t Complain” life that impacted all who came in contact with her.
Juwana’s life and the Ennals’ home changed immensely when the Lord blessed Juwana, in 2011, with a beautiful baby girl. While specialists were on standby for a difficult and possibly complicated delivery due to Juwanas’ disability, the Lord had another plan for His gift – a successful, no complications, miraculous delivery. From that moment, Juwana’s life and the Ennals’ household was changed. Everyday was spent bonding, nurturing, teaching and loving God’s gift. Juwana’s first gift to her daughter was her name, Zion Joanna Molock.
Juwana is survived by her biological parents Odessa Roberts of Salisbury, MD and Ronnie Molock of Cambridge; her aunt/Mommy, Pastor Mary Ennals; a daughter, Zion Molock all of Cambridge; 2 sisters: Shanika Macer of Joppatown, MD.and Cynthia Mitchell of Suitland, MD; 3 brothers: Montray Gross of Salisbury and Quintaze Gross of Centerville, and William Chester of Cambridge; her paternal grandfather, Calvin Molock, Sr. of Cambridge; her godmother, Katy Askins; 2 godchildren: Leilani Wilson and Rian White; and a host of relatives and friends. She is also survived by 2 special cousins: La Kesha Beasley and Gloria Ross; and a special friend Tabitha Crawford Motilal.
Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents: Laura Thomas and James Ross; Papa: William Ennals (10/2016); her paternal grandmother, Helen Molock; 2 uncles: Thomas (11/2017) and James (06/2018) Molock; and aunt Jacqueline Molock-Nuton (01/2018).
