Johnta Daniel Pimentel, 13 of Cambridge departed this life peacefully Sunday, March 12, 2017 at University Shore Medical Center @ Dorchester. He was born August 22, 2003 in Washington DC. Johnta was the son of Earl David Taylor, Jr. and Barbara Jean Taylor. His biological parents are John Pimentel and Daleta Starr both of Washington DC.

Johnta attended Maces Lane Middle School. Johnta was a God sent child who touched the hearts of many. He was an adorable, loving, and special son, brother, nephew, and cousin. To know him was to love him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harold Jones and Helen Jones Blackston, and Deatra Starr; paternal grandparents: Earl D Taylor, Sr. and Dorrien Taylor.

In addition to his parents, Johnta leaves to cherish fond memories a maternal grandfather Robert Starr of Washington DC; a paternal grandmother Martha Pimentel of Washington DC; a Godmother Michelle Crawsord of Washington DC; 11 brothers: Albert McKnight of Boston, E Darnell (Gloria), A. Eugene James (Chadocia) McKnight all of Cambridge, Randolph, Daiquan, and DJ Taylor all of Cambridge, Quinton, Tajohn, Shawnta, and Taquan Starr all of Washington DC; 2 sisters: Divinity and Vniah Starr both of Washington DC; 6 aunts: Constance Elliott (Frederick), Francine Harris both of Cambridge, Claretha Williams (Ernest) of Denton, Texas, Edna Taylor of Baltimore, Delores and Jasmine Starr of Washington DC; 5 uncles: Frederick Jones, Gregory Candy (Sherita) both of Cambridge, Keith Hubbard of Hurlock, Donnie Molock of Cambridge, and Marty Taylor of Baltimore; 4 nephews, 4 nieces, 10 great nephews, 7 great nieces, and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
