Jasmyn Denise Brummell, age 24 was born on March 17, 1996 in Baltimore, MD. She was one of three children.
On July 4, 2020 she answered God’s call and entered eternal rest. She was affectionately known as Jas, Jassy and Jassy Denise by friends and family and my favorite name “Jasmina”. She was also a member of Scott’s United Methodist Church in Trappe, MD.
She was educated in the Talbot County School system and graduated from St. Michaels Middle/High School in May of 2014. Jasmyn was employed by Home Health Care in Dover, Delaware and was recently certified as a Home Health Aide. After high school she worked at the Bartlett Pear Restaurant/Motel and Food Lion both in Easton, MD. Jasmyn enjoyed her family and friends and always put many before her own happiness. She also enjoyed being a part-time caregiver for her special friend little Noah Davis-Todd. She cared a lot for his father, Louie Todd and family. Jasmyn was an active team player in high school with basketball and field hockey. She loved traveling, singing, dancing and children, helping out whenever and wherever she could.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Marva Brummell, Jackie Purnell(Aunt), Lawrence A. Brummell, Jr.(uncle) Arthur T. Brummell(uncle) and a brother Patrick Lawrence Brummell.
She leaves to cherish fond memories, her (mother) Lori A. Brummell, a sister Rhianne Brummell, (grandfather) Lawrence Brummell, Darlene Brummell-Couslar(Seth)(aunt), Gary Brummell(uncle(Linda) and a lot of friends and cousins and a special friend Louis Todd and son Noah and her closest friend Darian Hynson.
Your smile is gone forever, your hand we cannot touch,
Thank God for tender memories, of the ones we loved so much.
A heart of gold stopped beating, two shiny eyes at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best.
God knew you had to leave us, but you didn’t go away alone,
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
To some you are forgotten, to others just a part of the past
But to us our Dear Jasmyn, your memory will always last.
