Eloise Betty Spicer was born June 5,1930 to Carrie Ballard and Oscar Cropper in Accomax, Virginia, she departed this life on March 22, 2022 at the home she shared with her daughter Lola. She was surrounded by her family.
Eloise received her education in the public schools of Dorchester County.
Eloise was employed at several places in Dorchester County; Bumble Bee Tuna for 14 years, Rippons Crab House, and Trappe Frozen Food.
Eloise was a member of Mount Moriah New Life Ministries. She was the mother of the church and attended faithfully until her health failed.
Eloise loved cooking and you knew you could get a good home cooked meal when you visited her. She loved shopping and spending time with her family and friends.
Eloise leaves to cherish the precious memories of her life, her children, Shirlene Cropper, Louise Jones, Lola Hobbs, Linda Cropper, Loretta Cropper, and Floretta Cropper; her step children, Shirley Jones, Jeanette Pritchett, Frederick Pritchett, Russell Pritchett; Mary Fitzgerald, James Fitzgerald, and Barbara Fitzgerald; fifteen grandchildren, thirty six great grandchildren and thirty one great, great grandchildren; special friends, Mary Elliott, Eloise Johnson, and Nicie Anzarie; and a host of nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Spicer, her parents, 2 brothers, 7 sisters and 2 grandsons.
