Earljeane Moore

Earljeane (Fields) Moore, age 73, departed this life on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at home. E.J. as she was affectionately known, was born on July 20, 1947 in Bellevue, Maryland. She was the daughter of the late William E. Fields Sr. and Lillie (Milbourne) Fields.

Educated in Talbot County Public School system, EJ was always a hard worker. In her younger years she worked for Bellevue Seafood in many different capacities. As an adult, E.J. worked for Salty Oyster Seafood in St. Michaels, Maryland. Later, E.J. transitioned into a managerial position where she stayed for many years. After her tenure at Salty Oyster. E.J. changed careers and started working at the Deli at Food Lion in Easton, Maryland until she fell ill.

Outside of Earljeane’s professional life, she also made time to fall in love. She was joined in holy matrimony to the late Charles Vernon Moore Sr. on February 26, 1972. The two enjoyed hosting parties at their home, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends.

E.J. was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church of Bellevue, Maryland. Where she faithfully served as an usher. Throughout her many trials and tribulations she always kept her constant faith and extended that to others. Known for her spunky attitude, compassion, cooking, sense of humor and love for family, E.J. was someone that you could always depend on.

Earljeane enjoyed many past times such as: various forms of decorating, word searches,  watching her favorite T.V. show. In addition, she loved staying in contact with all of her friends and family.

Earljeane leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Clifton J. Fields, Charles V. Moore Jr. and Kelley L. Chambers (Reginald Chambers). Her siblings: William E. Fields Jr. (Diane) Bellevue, MD; Alvin L. Fields (Melvina) Royal Oak, MD; James E. Fields (Easton, MD), John M. Fields (Rose) Norfolk, VA; Roger Fields (Bettie) Whitakers, NC; Lillie V. Reese (William) Easton, MD; Timothy Fields (Cheryl) Arlington, TX; Christine Fields (Bellevue, MD). Her grandchildren: Richard C. Fields Jr (Millsboro, DE), Elijah K. Moore (Albuquerque, NM), Brayden L. Chambers (Germantown, MD), RahneeLeiigh Moore (Carlisle, PA), Charlesha Moore (Carlisle, PA), Maverick L. Chambers (Germantown, MD), and one great grand child Hosanna Janet-Faith Fields (Crumpton, MD). E.J. also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, countless friends and extended family members and lifetime family friend Jacqueline Greene (Bellevue, MD).

Preceding Earljeane in death, her son, Richard C. Fields Sr., and siblings Earldean Fields, Walter W. Fields Sr., Benjamin E. Fields, Anthony Fields, and Gilbert M. Fields. Her late husband, Charles V. Moore proceeds her in death.
