Ms. Constance L. Brown, daughter of the late Arnold Brown and Mildred Taylor Brown, was born on Tuesday, August 27, 1946, in Centreville, Maryland. She departed this life and gained eternal victory on Monday, October 2, 2017, at The Pines in Easton, Maryland, under the care of Talbot Hospice, at the age of 71.
Constance attended school at Kennard in Centreville, graduating from Kennard High in 1965, she later attended nursing school graduating as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CAN).
Constance was known to her family and friends as Mommie, YaYa, Mom-Mom Connie, Connie and Aunt Connie. She was a loving person who loved the Lord, her church and her family. She was a faithful member of Bethel A.M.E. Church. She loved to hear the word of God and had accepted Christ as her personal Savior. Her favorite song was “We Come A Long Way”. In her early years, Connie was employed at Kent and Queen Anne’s Hospital and House in the Pines Nursing Home.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by three sisters, Doris, Shirley and Sylvia and three brothers, Arnold Jr., James and Donald Brown.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Robin Brown; granddaughter, LaTanya Copes Booth (Dante); great grandchildren, Ty’Shon Copes, Dalyah, Za’Kaiya and Dante Booth Jr.; two sisters, Mildred Cooper and Brenda Butler; one brother, George Brown; one brother in-law, Bernard Harris; close friends and best friends, Arlene Brown, Lorraine Carter, Mary Carter, Ethel Smith, Lorraine Jenkins, Charlotte Benson, Richard DiCriscio, Winnie, Catherine Cross and one very devoted friend with whom she shared companionship for over 50 years, Van Whittington; and a host of friends at Tilghman Terrace, Edwards Pharmacy and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
