Clinton Edward Waters, Sr., affectionately known as “Butch,” was called home to Glory on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n He was born to the late Edward B. Waters and Eleanore B. Waters on October 18, 1950.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Clinton graduated from Easton High School in 1968, and enlisted in the United States Army, where he served his country from 1968 to 1971.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n He was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church in Cambridge, Maryland. He enjoyed playing the lottery, cooking and spending time with friends and family.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Clinton was preceded in death by his parents, Edward B. Waters and Eleanore B. Waters; two sisters, Cynthia Woodus and Diane White.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Clinton leaves to cherish his memories, his son, Clinton E. Waters, Jr. (Autumn), grandchildren, Brianna Stamper(Jacksonville, FL.), Makayla Scharf (Henderson), and Matthew Edwards (Denton, MD.), a great-grandson, Breon Chew(Jacksonville, FL.) 6-sisters, Gloria Warner (Phillip) Easton MD, Joyce Fitchett (Rev. Randolph), Ridgely, MD, Joe-ann Driggins (Frank) Denton, MD, Ninita Waters, (Denton, MD) Laverne Moaney (Leroy) Denton, MD, Laura Waters, Trappe, MD, brother, Benjamin Waters (Denton, MD), special friends: Alfredia, Erica, Mike, William, Richard, Steve and Annie, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
