Claudine Arneice Blake, 79 of Easton, departed her life on Wednesday, May 19,2021, at Signature Health Care at Mallard Bay, Cambridge, MD. She was born July 05, 1941 to the late Ameila L. Benson and James W. Benson.
Claudine was educated in Talbot County at Moton High School. She would live briefly with her aunt and uncle in New York before coming back to live in Easton. Claudine was married to John R. Blake for 23 years. Until she retired, she worked in many areas as housekeeper, plant worker, patient sitter, retail worker, and baker.
Claudine was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church where she served as a member of the choir. She loved her church and most importantly she loved the Lord. She enjoyed watching her favorite westerns. Claudine enjoyed playing bingo, and baking pies and cakes for others.
In addition to her parents, Claudine is preceded in death by her son Joseph Anthony Jerome Benson; 6 brothers: Alphonso Rasin, Julius Rasin, James Rasin, William Rasin, Hermione Rasin, and George Rasin; 4 sisters: Velveeta Rasin, Alice Rasin, Leatrice Rasin, and Nettie Perkins, and a niece, Vanessa Blake.
Claudine’s love and memory will be carried on by her step daughter, Marcie Catlett; 2 step sons: Anthony Lovette and Kenny Johnson; her granddaughters: Shimera Mcneal and Amelia Jordan; her nephew: Terry Taylor, Tracy Taylor, Trevin Taylor, Lamont Taylor, Robert Joshua, James "Eddie" Rasin, Hermione Rasin, Jr. George Rasin Jr, Timothy Blake and, Xavier Rahim; her nieces: Rena Bullock, Carmelia Eze, Okima Rahim, Erin Rahim, Iretha Armstrong, and Rosalee Rasin; sister in laws: Phyllis Rasin and Geraldine Rasin; she also leaves her love and memory to her sister/friend, Barbara Blake, and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
