Bridget Alonette Jones a loving daughter, mother, and friend was called home on June 19, 2016 at the age of 45.
Bridget was born September 12, 1970 in Cambridge to the late Alonza Cornish and Ella Mae Sampson. She was educated in the Dorchester County Public School system, and graduated from Cambridge South Dorchester High School with the Class of 1989. Bridget worked for Black & Decker as a supervisor for many years before settling in at Delmarva Community Services as a home-aide. She was respected and loved by all of her coworkers and patients.
Bridget spent her spare time watching re-runs of her favorite shows such as Law & Order, Good Times, and Sanford and Sons. She also had a love for the cooking shows. She also spent time reading, playing games on her tablet, and spending as much time as possible with her children.
She leaves to cherish fond memories three children: Darien, Erica, and Jade Cornish; 3 grandchildren: Alex, Niya, and Layla; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and brother: Felicia Murphy and Alonza Dennis.
