On Saturday, October 6, 2019, Benjamin Robinson Jr., 62, departed this life suddenly at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Dorchester in Cambridge, Maryland. Born July 28, 1957 to Elsie Mae Stanley and the late Benjamin Robinson Sr.\n \n\n Ben as he was affectionately called, attended public schools in Dorchester County. He attended the National Church of God at an early age. Ben held various jobs and always had a helping hand to help someone in need. He loved his family and always kept you laughing.\n \n\n He leaves, not to mourn, but to cherish his loving memory, one son, Benjamin Lamont Robinson of Church Creek; his mother, Elsie Mae Stanley; step-father, Harold Stanley; brothers, Erskine Robinson (Mamie), Darnell Robinson (Theresa) and Kevin Robinson, all of Cambridge and Benny Robinson of Virginia; one sister, April Robinson of Virginia; step sisters, Joan Batson and Joyce Stanley Berry;\n \n three grandchildren; Dion (Khi), Malik and Tyrese, all of South Carolina; one aunt, Berdina Ross (Hayman) of Cambridge; one uncle, William Asbury Chester of Woolford; one great uncle, Joseph Chester (Victoria) of Cambridge and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.\n \n\n In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one son, Dion Robinson, one sister, Joyce Ann Robinson-Pinder and four aunts.
