Arlethia Tilghman Obituary (1955 - 2019)

Arlethia Lorraine Tilghman, 63 of Cambridge, departed this life on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Mallard Bay Nursing Home. Born July 1, 1955 in Cambridge, Maryland, she was the daughter of Willie Green and Ardenia and step father, Monroe Dorsey. She was a graduate of Dorchester County Public Schools and was employed for many years ago with the local crab house in Hoopers Island. Affectionately known as Lethia, she loved the Lord and the word. She attended Mount Olive Baptist Church. In addition, she loved her family and people. Her hobbies were listening to gospel music, playing bingo and enjoying the outside. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Billy” Ross, a sister, Geraldine Tilghman and a brother, Willie Green Jr. In addition to her parents, she is survived by four siblings, Cynthia Davis, William, Helen and Yvonne Matthews (all of Salisbury, MD) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
