Andrew Martin Skinner, 81 departed this life on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at his
home in Easton, Maryland. He was born on March 11, 1940 in Easton, Maryland,
son of the late Medford T. and Anna M. Harris Skinner. He received his education
in the Talbot County Public School system. Marty, as he was fondly called, was
employed with B.F. Goodrich, then later with Spurry’s Tire, and then moved on to
the Maryland State Highway Administration where he was a faithful employee
until his retirement after 32 years of service. Marty, being a people person,
ventured out and started working for Wal-Mart as a cart attendant and door
greeter until he retired after 20 years of service. Marty was a kind, caring, and
fun-loving person who enjoyed his family, friends, western movies, and country
music. He was loved by everyone who knew him and will truly be missed by all.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, William,
Edward, James, Robert, Gladys, Anna R., Harold, Mable, and Leroy. He leaves to
cherish fond memories, his children; Donavon Skinner (Michele), Ina Holden
(Michael), Brandee Brown (David); six grandchildren, Andrew Skinner, Matthew
Skinner, Aaron Skinner, Christopher Sampson, Olivia Ross, and Devan Lankford;
One brother-in-law, Gary Harris; One sister-in-law, Anna Skinner and a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He also left to cherish fond memories, his lifelong companion, Hildegard Green
who also departed this life a day later. Her children: Petra Green-Davis, Chester
Green, Frank Green, and grandchildren are also left to cherish fond memories of
our Dad as well.
