Marjorie M Sharp

August 5, 1952 ~ December 31, 2018 (age 66)

Marjorie Magdalene Sharp, 66, passed away quietly on Monday December 31st. at 12:07 A.M. in Easton Hospital. Marjorie was born August 5, 1952 in Dorchester County to the late Viola (Cutes) Sharp Pinder and Gaither Johns.

Marge, as she was called by family and close friends, was educated in the Dorchester County Public School system. She loved walking and bicycling. Marge also loved games of chance. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church which she attended regularly until her health failed in the last weeks of her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great grandson, De’Won Sharp, Jr. and a brother Rudolph Alphonso Sharp whom some referred to as her twin.

Marjorie is survived by her 5 daughters: Tonya Sharp, Saadia Wongus, Yasmaine Sharp, Natasha Sharp and Satasha Sharp both she lovingly called (Twin) all of Cambridge;  6 grandchildren: Timmera Thompson, De’Won Sharp, Chantanece Mitchell, Dynell Thompson, Aaliyah Sharp, and Tianna Carter; 9 precious great grandchildren: Zy’Mere Jones, Zaiden Jones, De’Iveion Sharp, Ke’Iveion Sharp, Diam’hin Stanley, De’Nayeh Fletcher, James Rowe, Jai Rowe, and Tailayah Taylor; 4 brothers: Everett M. Sharp, Sr. (Claudia) of East New Market, Evans Wendell Sharp, Edgar Allen Pinder, Jr., and  Barry Mark Pinder (Shirley) of Cambridge; 2 sisters: Carolyn Ann Sharp and Sharon Mae Sharp both of Cambridge; 2 very special friends she called her daughters: Peggie Robinson and Ernestine Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
