Laura Annie Holliday Wilson 81, departed this life Tuesday January 1, 2019 at Integrace Bayleigh Chase in Easton, MD.
“Annie Roni” as she was best known, was born December 12, 1937 in Easton, MD. Daughter of the late Raymond A. Holliday and Corrine Gertrude White. Annie was educated in Talbot County Public School and graduated from Moton High School in 1955. On August 24, 1956 she married Clarence Edward Wilson Sr. She worked various jobs throughout her life, but cooking was something she loved to do. In 1998 she retired from Black-n-Decker. Annie was a member of Scott’s United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Senior Choir and Fund raising committee until her health started to fail. She also was President of Young at Hearts Seniors and a member of Just Us Card Club.
Annie leaves to mourn 4 children: Clarence E Wilson Jr.(Anna) of Easton, Martin G. Wilson(Dawn) of Hurlock, Timothy L. Wilson(Denisha) of West Hills, CA, and Shante T Wilson of Trappe; 19 grandchildren: Lamar Greene, Tyrone Wilson Jr., Antwoine Wilson, Kevin Wilson Jr, Timothy Wilson Jr, Duvall Mills, William Rogers, Lance Wilson, Timon Wilson, Natasha Greene, Kia Greene, Tasha Wilson, Niesha Wilson, My’Kerra Bethel, La’shawna Rogers, Atira Lewis, Tamia Porter, Alfreda Wilson and David Washington; 24 great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Lucy Gussie Taylor of Baltimore and Eloise Wright of Cambridge; an adopted son, Michael Bethel; a god son, Adirus Keith Brown; a childhood friend who is like a sister, Marion Carter and a very special pet she loved Kash and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Annie is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Wilson Sr. two sons Tyrone C. Wilson Sr & Kevin R Wilson Sr. Three sisters and three brothers Mary Holliday, Bertha Pope, Pauline Bell, Sam Burton, Dorsey Holliday and Herman Holliday and a devoted friend Mary Rose Martin.
