Karon Stacey Holland 49, entered eternal rest on Wednesday June 5, 2019 at Genesis House of the Pines, Easton. Karon and her sister Sharon were born on May 11, 1970 in Baltimore, MD. Karon was the daughter of Glendora Holland and the late Webster Holland. Karon, being the oldest was the rambunctious and mischievous one, always inquisitive asking questions. She also never backed down from anyone always having to have the last word.
Karon graduated from St. Michaels High School in 1989. She furthered her education graduating from Fleet Business School in Annapolis in 1990. After graduating from business school, Karon was always known to secure a job giving it her all. After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis she continued to work until her health no longer permitted her to. Karon fought a courageous battle with the disease all the way to the very end.
Karon was baptized in the Name of Jesus at Mt. Zion Pentecostal Holiness Church. Later She attended Whole Counsel of God Ministries where she was a faithful member until her health no longer allowed her to do so.
In addition to her mother, she leaves to cherish her memory her son Cameron Marquise Nixon; 2 sisters: her twin, Sharon Holland of Mesquit, TX and Gwendolyn Jenkins (Marvin) of Easton; 2 brothers: Steven Murray (Zena) of Springfield, MA, and Christopher Murray of Easton, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister Michelle Holland.
The family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to Ms. Patsy Pierce, the Genesis House of Pines Staff and Sis. Laverne Simms for their caring and compassion during the later years of Karon's life.
