Anna Mae (White) Watson went from labor to reward on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Corsica Hill Center, a Genesis Health Care facility, Centreville, MD. She was born on February 20, 1935 in Baltimore, MD to the late Vincent White and Lillian Catherine Smith White.
Anna was educated in the public schools of Queen Annes County. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Charles Albert Watson of Burrisville, MD on September 28, 1967 until his passing on March 2, 2014. Anna was a faithful and loving wife, who diligently took care of her husband before he went to be with the Lord.
She was a faithful and active member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church (Church Hill/Burrisville Charge). She served in the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion. Later she attended Bethel AME Church, Centreville, MD where she attended under Pastor Terry A. Gaddy.
Anna held several jobs. She was employed by Joan Leekley, Centreville, MD; Abacus Corporation, Baltimore, MD and the most rewarding job was Watson Enterprises under Amway. She was know as “Amway Anna Mae.”
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Margaret Ann Meredith and niece, Rita Meredith.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three nieces, Vera Jamerson, Tara Thompson and Sheila Dent; two nephews, Eldridge and Tyrone (godson); two special cousins, Lawrence and Marchelle Ryans, who were also her caregivers and a host of other loved ones, relatives and friends.
